Agenda - Research and Planning
This week, we’d like to continue with action plans by sharing our creative ideas in our areas of interest. Please bring research ideas, questions, information, and links to help us with our understanding and collaboration. Afterwards we’ll organize these materials and our discussions into blog posts organized by topic and/or by actions

Bob led a great planning process which resulted in abundant brain-storming and stimulating conversation.
We spent almost all of our time talking about Plant-Based Diets, and what effective plans for increasing the practice might be.
An outcome that I find particularly valuable is Bruce's "recipe for success", organizational skills + funding with the small additional ingredient of effort.
A second outcome was our recognition of the need to include communities we wish to impact in our discussions about strategic approach.
A third outcome was our identification of the positive overlap that implementation of a strategy for broadening awareness of plant-based diets can have on local employment, awareness and shift towards the humane treatment of farm animals, and the significant opportunities to make a dent in the levels of CO2 and methane in the atmosphere, both through organic and compost-rich agricultural practices, and through a reduction in the overall emissions associated with plant-based diets.
Bob suggested we create a page dedicated to resources for each of our target projects. We're working on putting this together.
