Marshall Rosenberg describes a simple four step technique we can all use. The four steps guide our communication in ways that bring people together as empowered partners. They focus attention on "the way things are" and offer possibilities for positive action. Click here for a PDF describing the method.

Leading from the Emerging Future
Otto Schermer and colleagues at MIT provide space, community, and a process to engage in the kind of collective creativity that allows humans to adapt to changing circumstances. Leading from the Emerging Future is what we are about.
As you review these materials, you may notice the similarity between Theory U and Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication. They are describing the same kinds of processes - processes to remove barriers and focus attention on feeling and sensing at the deeper level at which motivation and creativity arise.
